Keeping Your Data Safe

We'll take good care of your data as per our Privacy Policy, and will only store and use it to deliver this service or to fulfil our legal and safeguarding obligations.

When you submit your data it will be kept in Formstack where it is accessible to a few selected admin staff. It will be sent via email to our Peer Support inbox where a staff member or trained volunteer will use it to match you up with a Peer Supporter. Some data, excluding details of what you want to talk about, will be stored in our secure Salesforce database to help us keep track of our matches. Information about your use of this service will be visible only to select CLAPA staff.

Your data will only be shared with your Supporter and selected, trained CLAPA Staff as necessary to deliver and evaluate this service. All discussions are confidential within CLAPA and wherever possible you will be kept anonymous, except in circumstances such as if a Peer Supporter feels you are at immediate risk of harm. In this case your Peer Supporter would contact CLAPA and possibly the Police or local Safeguarding Board as appropriate.
